Is the Iraq e-Visa single or multiple entry?

All Iraq e-Visas processed through our platform are currently single-entry. This means you may enter Iraq once only using the approved visa.

Multiple-entry visas are generally available under special categories—such as students enrolled in Iraqi institutions, employees working in Iraq, or spouses of Iraqi citizens. These types of visas require a separate procedure through the Iraqi residency office and cannot be applied for online via our system.

My Iraq e-Visa application was rejected. Can I get a refund?

Application fees are generally non-refundable once the request has been reviewed and submitted for processing. This is because the fee covers document review, application handling, and submission support, regardless of the final decision.

Final approval is not guaranteed and depends on the review decision made by the relevant authorities. By submitting your application through our platform, you confirm that you understand and accept this policy before payment.

I applied for an Iraq e-Visa but changed my mind. Can I cancel and get a refund?

Once an Iraq eVisa request has been reviewed and submitted for processing, it usually cannot be canceled or withdrawn. This is because the total fee includes document review, application handling, submission support, and official processing costs that are paid as part of the application process.

Please apply only when your travel plans are confirmed. If your request has not yet entered processing, you may contact us and we will review whether cancellation is still possible.

I applied for an Iraq e-Visa but didn’t use it. Can I get a refund?

No. Once your Iraq e-Visa is approved and issued, the processing fee is non-refundable — even if you choose not to travel or do not use the visa.

The fee covers the work required to process and submit your application to the authorities. These costs apply whether or not you later decide to enter Iraq.

Please only apply when you are certain of your travel plans to avoid losing your application fee.

When can I get a full refund for my Iraq e-Visa application?

You are only eligible for a full refund if:

  • You did not receive your Iraq e-Visa after the processing time that was provided to you during your application, and
  • You agreed to and accepted this condition before submitting your application.

If the processing time has not yet passed, or if the delay is due to factors outside our control (such as government holidays, additional security checks, or incorrect documents), a refund is not available.

Can I apply for an Iraq e-Visa on behalf of someone else?

Yes. You may submit an Iraq e-Visa application for a family member, friend, or employee, as long as you have their consent and provide accurate, valid documents.

When applying on behalf of someone else, you will need:

  • A clear scan of their passport photo page (see passport requirements).
  • A recent passport-style photo that meets the official specifications.
  • Accurate personal and travel details as the applicant will appear on the visa.
  • A working email address you can access to receive status updates.

By applying on their behalf, you confirm that the applicant has authorized you to submit and manage their visa request.

How early should I apply for my Iraq e-Visa?

We recommend applying as early as possible to avoid delays:

  • Group A nationalities: apply at least 7 days before travel. Most approvals are issued within 6–72 hours.
  • Group B nationalities: apply at least 3–4 weeks before travel. Processing typically takes 8–18 business days and may take longer during peak periods.

During your application, we display the estimated processing time for your nationality before payment. Religious seasons, public holidays, document issues, or additional checks may cause longer wait times, so we recommend applying well in advance.

What happens if my travel dates change after I apply for the Iraq e-Visa?

If you submit or have your Iraq e-Visa approved, travel dates on the visa cannot be changed. You will need to submit a new application with the updated travel information.

Because of this, we strongly recommend applying only when your travel plans are confirmed.

Do children need their own Iraq e-Visa application?

Yes. Every traveler to Iraq — including children and infants — must have their own approved Iraq e-Visa.

For children’s applications you will need:

  • A clear scan of the child’s passport photo page.
  • A recent passport-style photo of the child.
  • Accurate travel details as they will appear on the visa.

Applications for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

What happens if I overstay my Iraq e-Visa?

If you stay in Iraq after your e-Visa expires, you must act quickly to avoid serious penalties.

✅ If you go to the Residency Office voluntarily:

  • You will need to pay the overstay fine.
  • You must apply for an exit visa — this process is done manually at the Residency Office and cannot be completed at the airport.
  • Depending on the situation, you may receive a temporary entry ban (up to 2 years) or, in some cases, no ban at all.

⚠️ If you are caught with an invalid visa:

  • This could happen during a police checkpoint, ID check, or any other incident.
  • You will likely be detained and deported.
  • In most cases, this also results in a long entry ban (6 months – 2 years).

Best advice: Always resolve any overstay directly with the Residency Office before you are stopped, to reduce the risk of detention or a long-term ban.

Can I enter Iraq from any border with the Iraq e-Visa?

The Iraq e-Visa allows entry through recognized federal international airports and land borders within Iraq’s federal territory.

  • If you enter via the Kurdistan Region of Iraq or another regional entry point, you are subject to additional regional fees or requirements standard to that entry point.
  • For the smoothest entry, consider arriving via a federal entry point, especially if you plan to travel outside the Kurdistan Region.

Do I need to print my Iraq e-Visa, or is a digital copy enough?

We recommend carrying both:

  • A printed copy of your Iraq e-Visa to present at immigration.
  • A digital copy saved on your phone or device.

While some officers may accept a digital version, having a printed copy ensures you can proceed even if your phone battery is low or there are technical issues.

What is the refund policy for Iraq e-Visa applications?

A full refund may be reviewed only if the Iraq eVisa result is not delivered after the processing time shown during your application, and the delay is not caused by missing documents, incorrect information, public holidays, additional checks, or other official review factors.

Refunds are generally not available once the request has been reviewed and submitted for processing, if the application is rejected, if the visa is approved but unused, or if the applicant decides not to travel.

The total fee includes document review, application handling, submission support, and official processing costs that are paid as part of the application process.

If you believe your case qualifies, please contact us for review.

What payment methods do you accept for the Iraq e-Visa?

We accept most major credit and debit cards, as well as supported digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay (where available). Your bank may require 3-D Secure verification — an extra security step, such as entering a code sent to your phone or using biometric confirmation.

All payments are processed by certified, secure payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our system — your payment information is handled and encrypted by our payment gateway in accordance with industry security standards.
