• Keep your face unobstructed. Religious headwear is acceptable when the face remains fully visible.
• Use a photo taken within the last six months, without filters or edits to facial features.

Upload a clear, full-colour image of your passport’s information page.

• Include all four corners of the page.
• Keep your name, passport number, date of birth, photo and machine-readable lines fully readable.
• Avoid fingers, reflections, flash glare and shadows covering any details.
• Check that your passport has at least six months of validity from your intended arrival date.

A rejected Iraq eVisa application is generally not eligible for a refund once it has been reviewed and submitted for processing. The fee covers application preparation, handling and submission, regardless of the final result.

Once your Iraq eVisa application has been submitted for processing, it cannot be cancelled through our service. If it has not yet entered processing, contact our team with your application number so we can review whether cancellation is possible.

No. Once your Iraq eVisa is approved and issued, the application fee is non-refundable if you choose not to travel or do not use the visa.

A full refund applies if your Iraq eVisa result is not delivered after the processing time stated for your application, provided the delay or non-delivery is not caused by factors excluded under our Refund and Cancellation Policy, including missing documents, incorrect information, public holidays, additional checks, or other review factors.

Yes. You may complete an Iraq eVisa application for a family member, friend or employee with their permission.

Use the traveller’s passport, personal photo and accurate personal and travel details. Provide an email address you can access so you can receive document requests, updates and the approved visa.

Allow enough time for the processing group that applies to your passport: 6–72 hours for Group A or 8–18 business days for Group B. We recommend applying at least 7 days before travel for Group A and 3–4 weeks for Group B.

If your trip is several months away, tell us your intended arrival date before applying so the application can be planned around your travel dates. Read the processing-time guide.

If your travel dates change, check the entry deadline and permitted stay on your issued Iraq eVisa. These are different dates, and the approval must fit your revised travel plan.

Children and infants travelling on passports that require an Iraq visa need their own approved visa. A parent or legal guardian should complete each child’s application using the child’s passport, recent photo and travel details.

Plan your departure within the permitted stay recorded for your Iraq visa. The entry-validity deadline and the time allowed to stay after arrival are different.

If you have already exceeded your permitted stay, seek guidance from the Iraqi Residency Office about your case and the steps required before departure.

Use the entry arrangements provided with your approved Iraq eVisa. Check the instructions for your planned arrival point before travelling; do not assume that every airport or land border accepts the same entry arrangement.

A Kurdistan Region visa is for travel within the Kurdistan Region. It does not replace the visa required for travel to federal Iraq. Read the before-travel guidance and any arrival instructions sent with your approval.

Carry both a printed copy of your approved Iraq eVisa and a digital copy saved on your phone. Keep the printed approval with your passport and follow the arrival instructions provided with your visa.

Refund requests are assessed under our Refund and Cancellation Policy. A full refund applies when the stated processing time has passed without delivery of the result, provided the case meets the policy’s conditions and is not subject to an exclusion.

Delays caused by missing documents, incorrect information, public holidays or additional review do not qualify. Refunds are generally unavailable for rejected applications, approved but unused visas, or a change of travel plans after submission.

Our Iraq eVisa application accepts major credit and debit cards and supported digital wallets, including Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. The payment options available to you appear at checkout.

Your bank may ask you to verify the payment using a security code or banking app. Complete that verification to finish the payment.
